Josh Poole
Lead Pastor
Pastor Josh moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2004 to begin ministry training through the discipleship program Master’s Commission USA. He has served in several ministry roles including Youth Pastor and Campus Pastor as he helped plant and grow churches in Texas, Alaska, Arizona, and Florida. Pastor Josh married Natalie in 2015. When not at the church they are most often found getting coffee or steak.

Pastor Adam graduated from Master’s Commission School of Ministry and was invited to join the staff to help lead the next generation of ministry leaders. Over the past 20 years he has grown a heart for people in ministry as well as developed his organizational leadership while working for several Fortune 500 companies. Adam is married to the love of his life Jaclyn. They have a golden retriever (Parker) who fills their home with hair and love.
Holly Herron
CONNECTIONS Director
Holly was born and raised in Florida and attended USF where she received her bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreting. She has three younger siblings that she adores and loves to visit in Georgia; Drew (26), Haven (7), and Scarlett Grace (4). Holly's huge heart for people drives her passion for serving the community, the members of Mission City, and those all across the world. In her free time, when she's not in a hammock by the water, she loves to personalize anything and everything with her Cricut.
Cody Soffos
Youth Pastor
Pastor Cody began serving in Mission City's Youth ministry in 2018 as a volunteer, then as an intern, and has now been Youth Pastor since 2019. He graduated St. Petersburg College in 2022 with a BS in Business Administration. He and his wife, Jasmine, have been married since 2021. As a lifelong Floridian he loves serving the students of Pinellas County. The Soffos' love God's house and His people, especially the next generation. Some of Cody's passions include American politics, working out, and golf.
Michelle Lowther
Children's Director
Michelle was born and raised right here in Pinellas County Florida. She stayed local to Tampa Bay during her college years, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida in 2010 and her Law Degree from Stetson University in 2013. Michelle is an attorney for non-profit businesses and loves serving different charitable businesses in the community whether through work, or volunteering. Michelle has served in different aspects of children’s ministry at different churches since 2014 and loves that she gets to bring her skills and experience to help grow and serve the families of Mission City Church in this capacity. She met her husband Adam while in high school youth group and they have been married since 2013. When not at work or volunteering, you can find Michelle spending quality time with her husband and their daughter Reilly, either at a Rays game, playing outdoors, or building Lego!
Steven Wainscott
Worship & Production Director
Steven was born and raised a Florida boy. Graduated from Largo High School and studied and obtained an Associates and Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a minor in Bible. Since then, Steven has served many roles in multiple churches over the years, including Youth Pastor, Children’s Director, and Music Pastor. When not leading worship, he spends his time with his wife Gissele and their twin sons, Elijah and Jaxson. Steven loves to worship God and is always learning to build a deeper relationship with Him. Steven’s favorite hobbies are cooking, fishing and gaming. And who could forget…coming up with “Dad Jokes”.
Justin Halog
Music Director
Justin was born in the Islands of Hawai'i and got started in ministry through Uncharted Waters Sports Ministry using his passion for sports to spread the Good News of the Gospel to children all over the world from Hawai'i all the way to Thailand. Justin is married to his beautiful wife, Jenna, and has two beautiful children, Mason and Taylor. Justin and Jenna began serving in the youth ministry at Mission City Church in 2020. Justin then began serving on the Mission City worship team in 2021, singing backup vocals, playing bass, and strumming the guitar. Another big passion of his is culinary arts, everything from classical French cuisine to barbecue.
ZOE WRIGHT
Communications Director
Zoe graduated from Texas Christian University in December of 2020 cum laude. She has a bachelor of science degree in Strategic Communication from the Bob Schieffer College of Communication and minored in Digital Culture and Data Analytics. Zoe completed a ministry residency at Doxology Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas as the College Ministry Creative Resident. Zoe also has experience working in nonprofits and advertising agencies. Zoe’s passionate about sharing the Gospel in creative and strategic ways, as well as young women’s discipleship and missions. Zoe loves spending time with her family, friends and of course, her Shih Tzus, Ziggy & Simba!
Phillip Granucci
Facilities Manager
Phillip has had an uncanny knack for understanding how things work and fixing things since he was young, and he loves being able to use that skill for the church. He and his wife, Betty, have been married since 2010, and have a house full of wagging tails with 3 miniature long-haired dachshunds (Velvet, Katie and Zoey). Phil’s ideal form of relaxation is getting out on the water!
Rebecca Watrous
Impact coordinator
Rebecca was born and raised in Florida and graduated from University of South Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. After college, she began attending Mission City and quickly became plugged in and started serving. Rebecca has been a faithful member of Mission City Church since 2018. Rebecca’s outgoing personality and heart for people makes her a great fit to lead our Impact Team! She and her husband Doug got married in 2023! In their free time Rebecca and Doug love to spend time on the water boating, at the beach, or relaxing with family.
Cindy Fetting
Accounting Director
Cindy Fetting is our Accounting Director and we’re thankful for her passion for structure and organization. When Cindy moved to Florida from Carpentersville Illinois, she was at a drive-in movie theatre which played Christian movies. In between showings, a speaker explained the Gospel and she made the decision to follow Jesus! Since then, she has loved being able to live in obedience to God’s calling to work at Mission City Church, as she gets to serve the Lord with her gifts everyday. Cindy is married to Ray and they have two sons, Corey and Connor. She enjoys gardening, ax throwing, and loves cooking nutritious foods for her family. Most importantly, she loves learning.
Randy Beal
Digital Media Manager
Randy comes to us from the Bayous of South Louisiana, bringing nearly 20 years of experience as a Software/Web Developer and Server Administrator. God has positioned him to share his talents and testimony with our church both physically and in the digital space. He and his wife, Connie, have been married for 13 years and together have been blessed with six beautiful children. Randy's heart leads him to serve in any place he can lend a hand. He spends his free time kayaking, exploring Virtual Reality, and learning about the latest technologies available.
